1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, creating a profile, participating in surveys, interviews, focus groups, research studies, advisory engagements, expert consultations, or otherwise using the services of House of Tarq Pvt. Ltd. (“House of Tarq”, “we”, “our”, “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Registration with House of Tarq constitutes your consent to these Terms, including consent to communications, data processing, and participation-related policies described herein.

If you do not agree, please do not register or participate in our services.

2. Eligibility & Registration

You must be legally eligible to participate under applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Maintain and update your details where required;
  • Register only once unless otherwise permitted by us;
  • Not impersonate another individual, organisation, or professional identity.

For industry experts or professional participants, you represent that your participation does not violate employer policies, contractual obligations, confidentiality duties, or applicable regulations.

House of Tarq reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, or terminate registrations at its discretion.

3. Participation in Research & Advisory Activities

House of Tarq conducts and facilitates:

  • Surveys;
  • Research interviews;
  • Focus groups;
  • Panels and communities;
  • Market research studies;
  • Advisory engagements;
  • Industry expert consultations and related activities.

Participation is voluntary.

You may decline or withdraw from participation at any stage. However, where disclosed, incentives, rewards, or compensation may only be issued upon successful completion of a study or engagement.

We reserve the right to remove, disqualify, or exclude participants from any activity where participation is incomplete, duplicate, fraudulent, inconsistent, non-compliant, low-quality, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for research purposes.

4. Incentives, Rewards & Payments

House of Tarq may offer participation incentives, including vouchers, rewards, honorariums, or monetary payments.

Eligibility, payment timelines, and incentive conditions may vary by project.

  • Survey respondents and research participants may receive non-cash incentives such as vouchers or rewards.
  • Industry experts or advisors may receive monetary compensation for approved engagements.

House of Tarq may withhold, adjust, deny, or revoke compensation where:

  • Participation terms are breached;
  • Information provided is inaccurate or misleading;
  • Quality standards are not met;
  • Duplicate or fraudulent participation is detected;
  • Applicable compliance requirements are not satisfied.

Any taxes arising from compensation received are your responsibility unless required otherwise by law.

5. Recording & Communication Consent

By registering and participating, you consent to receive communications from House of Tarq electronically, including via email, phone, messaging platforms, SMS, or digital platforms.

Certain interviews, advisory calls, expert consultations, or research sessions may be recorded, transcribed, analysed, or documented for research, operational, quality, compliance, reporting, or client delivery purposes where legally permitted.

Your participation constitutes consent to such recording and processing unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific engagement.

6. Confidentiality & Professional Conduct

Participants agree not to:

  • Disclose confidential, proprietary, insider, or non-public information belonging to employers, former employers, clients, or third parties;
  • Violate confidentiality agreements, legal duties, or regulatory obligations;
  • Provide false, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, unlawful, or harmful content;
  • Misuse House of Tarq’s platform, research activities, or communications.

Industry experts and professional participants must comply with applicable professional, contractual, employer, and regulatory obligations.

House of Tarq may restrict or terminate access for violations of this section.

7. Data, Responses & Research Outputs

You retain ownership of personal information you submit.

By participating, you grant House of Tarq the right to collect, store, analyse, process, reproduce, and use your responses, feedback, recordings, submissions, and participation data for:

  • Research and analysis;
  • Operational purposes;
  • Study administration;
  • Anonymised reporting;
  • Trend analysis and benchmarking;
  • Insights generation;
  • Whitepapers, publications, reports, and client deliverables.

Where reasonably possible, research outputs shared externally will be aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified.

For future expert matching or advisory activities, House of Tarq may use professional profile information to assess eligibility and connect suitable participants with opportunities.

Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, methodologies, materials, software, reports, questionnaires, databases, and intellectual property belonging to House of Tarq remain our exclusive property or that of our licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, copy, commercially exploit, or misuse our content, systems, or materials without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

House of Tarq’s services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted platform availability;
  • Participation opportunities;
  • Eligibility for projects;
  • Compensation availability;
  • Error-free services or outcomes.

Participation invitations, project access, and future engagements are not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, House of Tarq Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from participation in or use of our services.

Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by House of Tarq to you, if any, in the preceding six (6) months relating to the relevant claim.

11. Suspension & Termination

House of Tarq may suspend, restrict, or terminate participation, accounts, profiles, or access at any time where necessary for legal, operational, compliance, security, quality, or business reasons.

You may discontinue participation at any time.

Sections relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, governing law, and data use survive termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or business changes.

Updated Terms will become effective upon publication or notification. Continued registration, participation, or use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or House of Tarq’s services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi, India.

House of Tarq may elect to resolve disputes through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in English and seated in Delhi.

8. Reporting Issues or Misconduct

If a user experiences concerns such as:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Service dissatisfaction
